- Parish Demonstration Farms: Hands-on training in organic farming, crop diversification, and soil conservation.
- Livestock & Poultry Projects: Support for household nutrition and income through responsible animal husbandry.
- Agroecology & Climate Resilience: Workshops and field schools to equip farmers with adaptive techniques.
- Youth Agricultural Engagement: Vocational training and agribusiness mentorship for young people.
- Caritas Agricultural Outreach: Seed distribution, extension services, and emergency food support.
CONSTRUCTION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
The Construction arm of the Development Office ensures that diocesan buildings reflect both pastoral mission and environmental stewardship.
Core Responsibilities:
- Church & Chapel Construction: Design and supervision of sacred spaces that foster worship and community.
- Educational & Health Facilities: Building durable schools and health centers in collaboration with diocesan commissions.
- Renovation & Maintenance: Upgrading existing structures for safety, accessibility, and longevity.
- Technical Oversight: Engineering support, cost estimation, and contractor supervision.
- Sustainable Building Practices: Promotion of local materials, energy-efficient designs, and water conservation systems.
