The Development Office of the Diocese of Butare is dedicated to advancing integral human development through sustainable agriculture and dignified infrastructure. Rooted in Catholic social teaching, the office serves as a bridge between pastoral care and practical progress—ensuring that every initiative reflects stewardship, service, and community empowerment.

  2. Educational & Health Facilities: Building durable schools and health centers in collaboration with diocesan commissions.
  3. Renovation & Maintenance: Upgrading existing structures for safety, accessibility, and longevity.
  4. Technical Oversight: Engineering support, cost estimation, and contractor supervision.
  5. Sustainable Building Practices: Promotion of local materials, energy-efficient designs, and water conservation systems.
